Its Not Easy Being Green Or Is It

If you are trying to reduce your carbon foot print, you should buy a condo in Rutherford Counties first LEED-certified development in Murfreesboro called Gateway Village. Gateway Village developer, Joe Swanson says, Gateway Village was designed with the environment in mind, from the parking lot that filters rain water to the sprinkler system, and the glue used to install the hardwood. Swanson also says, We are using reclaimed water for our irrigation and the flushing of our toilets. Swanson goes on to say that the paint being used is a low VOC (volatile organic compounds) paint. The Murfreesboro development will have special parking for fuel-efficient vehicles, and electric charging stations will also be added. Gateway Village in Murfreesboro will be a combination of condo living, retail, and offices. Condos will be available in one and two bedroom. Some of the amenities that are included are structured wiring, hardwood, tile, granite/marble tops, raised panel cabinets, and stainless steel appliances. So who says it's not easy being green?
